They should call this entry www.livenovel.com

I've been so busy the past couple of days. I've been working a lot, as always. Garrett and I have been renting a lot of DVDs lately. I decided not to buy that expensive ass front row Alice Cooper seat.... even though I want it SO badly... the rational side of me stepped in and messed it up for the obsessive side of me, saying "No, Ali! You already have a ticket. Its not as good as FRONT ROW or anything, but it'll do. $135 could buy you lots of other things that are more important". heh. So yeah. I *think* I'm making the right decision. I got paid today, and there was an extra $200 on my check from when I referred other employees a long time ago. That was a nice surprise. So Garrett and I went to Walmart and I bought us lots of stuff:

-a toaster.
-nice new bed sheets, pillow cases, and a blanket that are all matching and cute.
-hair dye
-miscellaneous toiletries that we needed
-etc., etc.
(This is where that "lots of more important things for $135" crap comes in) *wink*

I talked to Amanda this week. We really need to hang out sometime soon. We need some serious girly time. Nothing beats sitting at Perkins at midnight, drinking coffee with Amanda York.

Steve and I are hanging out sometime tomorrow after I got off work. That'll be cool. We haven't really gotten to hang out in awhile. I'm excited.

I hung out with Brent tonight. I'm super happy that he lives so close now... walking distance! He lives pretty much right behind my apartment. He let me borrow some good DVDs, too.

Garrett and I are going to be in Evansville on Sunday and Monday visiting his grandma, I think.

I received another vintage Alice Cooper shirt in the mail from ebay today. Its NICE. Really nice. In great condition. Its from the Trash album... so its probably circa 1988 or 1989. Its seriously beautiful. Its a size small, white... with Alice on the front wearing a leather jacket (see the cover of the Trash album). I love it.

(don't you just love how random my journal entries have become?)

On a sadder note, however, I received the most disturbing news ever today. A little girl that my grandma sometimes takes care of... she was walking home from a friends house one morning not long ago, and was raped. This little girl is 13 years old. The man was in a car, and asked her if she wanted a ride. She told him no, and started to cut through a field to get away from him. He followed her, put his hand over her mouth, knocked her down, and preceded to rape her. He tore all her clothes off, came on her, and beat her head into the ground. He tried to take her with him, to his car, but she kicked him and ran. He took all of her clothes with him when he left. This little girl had to walk home, across Michigan St., completely naked. 13 FUCKING YEARS OLD. How the fuck could you? Its beyond me how people can actually do these things. Its awful. My grandma was telling me about it when I was doing my laundry at her house earlier. I couldn't help but cry. I mean... god. What is wrong with people? The only positive thing I can say about the whole thing is its a good thing she ran, because he probably would have killed her if he had succeeded in taking her with him. And this was at 9:00 a.m.... how could SOMEONE not have seen this happen and tried to help her? This happened right by a public library... by people's houses. How could someone not have noticed a nude child crossing a very busy street, and not stopped to help her? I don't understand. It makes me feel so bad. And how must her family feel? Its absolutely horrible. Makes me feel sick to my stomach. The worst part.... the man who did this took a bag with her things in it, including a prescription medicine bottle for antibiotics, that had her name and address on it. So now the girl can't even live at home right now, for fear of him coming after her. She's staying with an aunt and her little sister is staying with my family for now. Ugh. I hate people sometimes. I think that sometimes I'm too sensitive a person for some of the things that go on in this world.

So as not to end this journal entry on sour note, I'm going to change the subject. I'm going to start using a different livejournal name soon, so if its really all that important to you to read my entries, add it: loveittodeath. For now, it will be friends only, but in the future that might change... who knows? Suddenly, I feel the need to know who all is reading my entries. I don't know why, really. Just one of those things. I'm going to start writing in that journal when the paid account on this one expires.

Garrett and I put a bunch of stuff up on ebay, but only two items have even been bid on yet. haha.

Well, Garrett just got home, and I've typed enough for tonight. Its bedtime soon.

Last night I got to hang out with Miss Sarah Risk. I hadn't seen her in a long time. We went to Denny's, and I ate breakfast food while she let her ice cream drip all over the table. haha. It was good seeing her.

Today I've done nothing but work, nap, and eat. My life is so exciting. But you know what really IS exciting? Some ebay dude is selling one front row ticket to see Alice Cooper in Merrillville, and its mine. Yes. So now I won't have to sit in the further away seat I already bought. So does anyone else want to go see Alice Cooper? You'd have to sit by yourself, but it'd be a fun concert. And the ticket would be cheap (free, if I can't get rid of it any other way... don't want it to go to waste). Let me know.

In other news, Little Sarah is moving away this week. I'll miss her, even though we haven't gotten to hang out as much as I would have liked lately. Damn our conflicting schedules! But Sarah, I haven't forgotten about you, I just haven't really had a chance to call and say goodbye. So here it is. You'll have to let me know if/when you're ever back in town to visit. And please keep updating your livejournal, because I'd love to keep up on Sarah news.

I'm going to fill the bathtub with cold water and lay in it until I cool off a bit. The hot temperature in this apartment is starting to get really old.

I have tickets to see Alice Cooper in both Chicago and Merrillville. The Chicago show is general admission, but the only seat I could get for Merillville was a little disappointing. Its not bad, really, but I know that if they hadn't done an internet presale, I would have gotten something better. I'm also going to buy a ticket for Cleveland, as soon as I find out when those go onsale. If he comes here, I'll of course go to that one, too. I'm also thinking about driving to Niagra Falls, New York to see him on Halloween. Can you *imagine*?!? ALICE COOPER ON HALLOWEEN?!?!?! How wonderful! Its only about a nine hour drive, maybe a little less. Small price to pay to see Alice. Its at a casino, but I called the place this morning, and they said that as long as you were 18 years old, you could go to the show as long as you didn't enter the gaming area. Sounds good to me. I don't want to gamble, anyway. I just want to see Alice! I'm getting so excited for the month of October... Can you tell? haha.

Last night, Garrett and I went to TJ and Carrie's house to eat chilli and watch a Manowar video. Those guys (from Manowar) are insane. *laugh*

Work dragged by so slowly today, for some reason. Usually, Sundays go by quickly for me. Maybe its because I just want this month and next month to get over with so that I can see Alice Cooper a bunch of times.

I can't think of anything other than Alice Cooper. I think I'm obsessed.

I tried it, too, but I could never really get it to look right. Fun, though.
-returned the movie we rented.
-Garrett and I gave each other back rubs.
-He went to bed, and I'm still awake because its WAY too fucking hot in here.
I haven't updated in awhile. So heres whats been going on:

Thursday - Went with Angelville to their show in St. Louis. Everything was cool until the drive back. First, we had an awful experience at Taco Bell. The dumb bitch taking our order didn't give us all of the food she charged us for, and fucked up our food, too. When we complained, she said that she would not fix it because she was too busy, and that she'd just give us our money back. Garrett was pissed and about to throw his drink at her, so we just left to avoid having the police called on us. I was in a bad mood because I was out money AND food. If that wasn't bad enough.... when we were almost to Terre Haute, we had to pull over. At first we thought that it was just a flat tire, but apparently the whole damn wheel was broken. heh. So its 3:00 in the morning, dark as hell, and cold because of the traffic rushing by while we're standing on the side of the interstate. Speaking of the traffic, I was sure that a semi was going to hit us or something. heh. So after standing around about three and a half hours, hungry and cold, the tow truck comes to take the van away. Then, Neal's mom got there and drove us back to Indy.

Friday - Slept for a few hours. That night I went to see Soilent Green play at the Rehearsal Studios. Definately a good show. I'm glad I went.

Saturday - Rented "Ringu" and watched it at my grandma's house with Garrett and TJ while I did laundry. It was pretty cool.

Sunday - First day back at work. Not too bad, actually. And Garrett and I ate sloppy joes for dinner. Yum.

Today - Boring. And where is Garrett? I thought he'd be home by the time I got here, but he's not, and he left his phone here. Strange. I bet he went to go see a movie or something. Maybe. I dunno.

Now that I have that out of the way, lets get down to buisness! Alice Cooper will be in Merriville, Indiana on October 15th. And I'm really fucking pissed that I didn't know about Ticketmaster's Internet presale that started THREE damn days ago. It started without me. *cry* And now the best available seat for one person is near the BACK of the lower pavillion, and all the way over to the side. This will not do. Goddammit. I don't know what I'm going to do now. And I need to get tickets to the Cleveland show, too. And maybe one of the Michigan shows. Hopefully, he'll come to Indianapolis again, too. I want to meet that man this year. Why must he always elude me? "I'm not worthy!"

And Alice Cooper's new CD will be out this September. I'm so excited. Its supposed to be really good.

I've done nothing but be lazy the past few days. Yesterday and the day before I hung out with Nate, Brian, Dave, etc. I've also rented DVDs. And last night Nate and I drove around listening to Alice Cooper. Yesterday morning, I had an appointment at Planned Parenthood that I totally forgot about/slept through. Oops! I'll just call them today and make another one. Last night, Chris came over real late and hung out with me. We made each other CDs and talked about geeky stuff. This morning, all I've done is sit in front of the computer. Oh, and I ate three bowls of cereal. I've made a lot of dirty dishes the past few days, and I really do need to wash them. In fact, my whole apartment could use cleaning. Maybe thats what I'll do today.

"Run to the hills..... run for your lives!"

Heres a quick review of the concert last night:

The drive up there pretty much sucked because it rained the whole time. We made it there in about three hours, just in time to catch Dio. I love that old man. He's so cool. During his set, some guy that was standing behind us just GAVE us free pavillion seats. It was awesome... we paid lawn seat price and still got to sit closer. Then, we thought that Motorhead was going to play, but apparently, he had already played before Dio. So we were pleasantly surprised when Maiden came out. They opened with "Number of the Beast" and closed with "Run to the Hills". They also played songs like "The Trooper" and "Die With Your Boots On". And the stage set up was so awesome. They even had a mechanical Eddie come out. The best part about the show was that as much as the band was into what they were doing, so was the audience. And everyone was singing along. As Steve said in his journal entry about it, all you could hear across the entire audience were all the people singing along - "Woah oh oh oh oh". It was seriously beautiful. Definately the best show I've ever seen. Better than even Alice Cooper (I can't believe I just said that). But yeah, that was the most fun I've had in a while. I never thought I'd ever get to see Iron Maiden, and there I was. I don't even know what else to say about it.

The drive home last night wasn't so bad. It didn't rain at all, but we hit some bad fog. I think I got home around 1:30ish? Something like that. I don't remember. Then, I went to sleep and had nightmares all night. And I woke up wishing Garrett were here. But just as I was wishing this, he called. He said that they were in New York on their way to Massachusettes, and that they'd played a really great show the night before. I'm really glad that they're alright. And I'm really glad that he called.

Today I think I'll just be lazy. Sit around the house, maybe go over to my grandparent's. Tonight, I MAY end up going to the Eighteen Visions/Static Lullaby show, but I'm not sure yet. Depends on how I feel.

I just saw Iron Maiden.

Bedtime now, review later.

But I will say this: I am a very happy girl right now. Maiden rules.

Yesterday:

Garrett made me breakfast and then gave me my birthday presents (a DVD player and some DVDS... I'm moving up in the world of technology! hehehe). Then we were lazy and layed around the house for a few hours before really getting up. We went to Karma and I got my Iron Maiden ticket for today (SO excited about that). Then, I reluctantly drove him to Patrick's house so that they could get ready to leave. At the last minute, I decided to go ahead and drive seperately to Ft. Wayne to catch their show, since it would be their last one in Indiana for a little while (and because Garrett said that he would be sad if I didn't go). So I went to the bank, cashed my check from Karma, and started driving. Traffic was backed up so badly on I-69 for the first part of the drive. I still made it in about two hours, though, and thats pretty good. The show sounded great, surprisingly enough since it was in a basement. I left not long after they played. They were on their way to New York last night after the show, and I hope they made it/are making it safely. I worry about them in that van. It likes to break down and John drives kinda crazy sometimes, anyway. So I'm sending them my good thoughts.

When I got back to Indianapolis, I went and hung out with Dave, Brian, Lindsay, and Nate (and I got a brief appearance from Brent). And Nate - I saw your girlfriends boobies. Boo ya! *laugh*

Today

-get in the shower.
-get ready to go.
-visit my grandma for a little while.
-Pick up Steve.
-Head out to Columbus to see IRON MAIDEN, DIO, and MOTORHEAD.
-Rock out.
-Come home.

This is going to be great.

I don't want to go to sleep tonight. I'll be crawling into an empty bed with cold sheets, and nothing but a pillow to to cuddle with. And this is just the first night. Garrett will be gone for over a week. I miss him already. He drew a heart in the condensation on my car window today before I drove away. Cutest thing ever. He's the best thing I have. But its going to be so strange not having him to curl up next to at night or wake up to in the morning.

But I MUST get some sleep. Its almost 4:00 a.m, and I have a lot to do tomorrow. I'll make a full update in the morning after I've gotten some rest.

Tonight was Nichole's last night working at Karma... then she's off to California. I hope she keeps in touch. To commemorate the event, we listened to Cinderella all night tonight. It was fun.

Tomorrow I work until 4:30 at Amdoc.... Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I work both jobs. BUT! Thursday I only work at Amdoc, and then I'm going to see Angelville play that evening. Friday is my birthday (yay!), and I don't work at all for about a week. Good stuff.

Well, I'm super tired, and I think its getting close to bedtime for me. Good night, everyone.

I have new Livejournal icons. Just thought I'd share.

Other than that, nothing much is new. Last night, I broke out all of my No Doubt CDs. I love that band.... I was rocking out to them in the car, and I'm sure that Garrett didn't apprectiate it. *laugh*

I have to work today at Karma from 2:00 until 10:00 or so. I've been working a lot lately. But thats alright.... because in just a week I have some time off. Can't wait.

I had a super boring day because all I did was run errands, do laundry, and sit around.

But Garrett did take me out to eat tonight. We had the best pizza ever (The vegan pizza at WB's... AWESOME).

Hey, does anybody want to possibly go to King's Island with me sometime between the 8th and 12th of August?

Or to Iron Maiden in Columbus on the 9th of August?

*yawn* Sleeeeeeeeepy.

Time to go read for awhile, and then go to bed.
